• 1 (12-ounce) bag of fresh cranberries yields about 3 (generous) cups.
• Rinse the cranberries and sort out any that look damaged or soft before using.
• They may be stored in the plastic bags they are sold in, either in the refrigerator for about a week, or frozen. Once frozen and thawed, use right away.
