Times change. So does the media.

Join us as we celebrate the Taste section's 45th birthday on Oct. 1 with a showing of "Singin' in the Rain," at the Heights Theater in Columbia Heights. The story line of the 1952 musical revolves around the shift from silent movies to the talkies, with plenty of singing and dancing from Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds. And there is food, of course.

The American Film Institute has called this the No. 1 musical ever. Find out for yourself. And come early, when Harvey Gustafson will play food tunes on the theater's amazing Wurlitzer organ. There will be door prizes, too (it is our birthday, after all). Hope to see you! And lock in those tickets. This has been a sold-out event in the past.
