Flowers or feathers? Ribbons or netting?
Those were the weighty decisions being pondered at the Hats, Horses & High Tea event. Attendees wandered through Scarborough Fair Shop in St. Paul and tried on hats of all colors, shapes and sizes. The Kentucky Derby-themed event featured tea and scones and an afternoon of modeling handmade hats from Bloomington-based Hat Trix.
The event benefited Freedom Farm, a therapeutic riding center in Waverly, Minn. The nonprofit helps enrich the lives of children and adults with disabilities to improve mobility, build confidence and encourage personal growth.
