Shafer Corn Maze
Walk the pathways of the 12-acre Dragon's Lair labyrinth. Those with a penchant for snooping can play FSI (Farm Scene Investigation, where guests find out what happened to missing Farmer Joe). Other attractions include a farm animal petting zoo, pony hop races and challenges. Those looking to raise the hair on the back of their necks are welcome to step gingerly through Stalkers of the Corn, where ghouls and grim reapers await.

Fire Prevention Open House and Safety Fair
Take a ride in a fire truck at this event. Also view displays and take part in activities. For a grand finale, guests can watch a dramatic burn demonstration, during which firefighters will show how fires can quickly become harmful.
