Wild Ones is growing
Wild Ones has formed a new seedling chapter on the southwest side of the metro area. Learn how to attract birds, bees, butterflies and other wildlife to your back yard at the first meeting of the new Prairie Edge Chapter of Wild Ones: Native Plants, Natural Landscapes at 6 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Chanhassen Public Library Wilder Room, 7711 Kerber Av.
Heather Holm, a native landscape designer, will give a presentation on “Restoring Your Landscape With Native Plants.” Holm has transformed her drab Minnetonka lawn into a mixture of prairie and woodland plants. Recycled garden books
You never know what kind of used garden books you’ll find at the Terrace Horticultural Books Fall Open House, Nov. 16-23, 503 St. Clair Av., St. Paul.
