Take a break from holiday errands to visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

This weekend, families can admire a 20-foot poinsettia tree, listen to holiday tales and create scented ornaments. "Making Spirits Bright" features storytime at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., "Ginger and Spice" crafting from noon to 4 p.m. Sat. and Sun. and a book signing by John Gilbert, author of Minnesota Outdoor Wonders," 1 to 4 p.m. Sat. There's also live music and visits with Santa. The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is at 3675 Arboretum Dr., Chaska. Admission is $12 for adults; free for ages 12 and under and for members. Call 952-443-1400.
