Going long

Love him or hate him, former Vikings Randy Moss deserves a documentary on the acclaimed series "30 for 30." In "Rand University," filmmaker Marquis Daisy looks back at the all-star's childhood in Rand, W.Va., where the young man's troubles with the law almost derailed his career. No word on whether the teenager ever bumped a West Virginia traffic cop with his car. 7 p.m. ESPN

Quizzing with the stars

The Beast must be chomping his lips at the prospect of going up against puny-brained actors in the first celebrity edition of "The Chase." The game show's centerpiece may want to be a bit cautious on the insults. One of the contestants is Dean Cain, who used to pack a punch as TV's Superman. 7 p.m. GSN

Raptured

Blondie, the Hall of Fame supergroup that was No Doubt before there was No Doubt, is featured in "Song by Song," an excellent series that dissects artists' most famous tunes. The tribute, which runs over the next four Tuesdays, starts off with "One Way or Another." Future installments spotlight "Heart of Glass," "Call Me" and "Rapture." 9 p.m. Ovation
