Alec Baldwin and Leslie Odom Jr. in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

Promotion department

He’s not a rock musician, but he’s changed the way you see a concert. “Who the F**K is Arthur Fogel?” spotlights the dynamic CEO of Live Nation and his impact on the music industry, with testimonials from Lady Gaga, Bono, Madonna and David Bowie. 7 p.m. Epix

Are you serious?

Most of Alec Baldwin’s TV work has been comedic in tone, so it’ll be interesting to see his dramatic turn as a controversial newspaper columnist in “Law & Order: SVU.” Of equal note: The show’s star Mariska Hargitay makes her directorial debut. 8 p.m. KARE, Ch. 11.

That’s what friends are for

Real-life besties Emily Mortimer (“The Newsroom”) and Dolly Wells (“Bridget Jones’s Diary”) team up for “Doll & Em,” a satirical look at trying to maintain a friendship in Hollywood. The idea of loosely basing the series on their real lives would be endearing — if it hadn’t already been done a trillion times. Focusing on females may be novel, but the material isn’t strong or funny enough to make this required viewing. 9 p.m. HBO
