Everyone's wondering if Elton John gave away new details about the iPad 2. Highly doubtful, but here's how the "story" spread. Crave quotes the singer thus:
Apple has been known to disembowel employees who leak details, then stick their heads on pikes and drive them around town as a warning. (They use a Prius, so don't get upset.) It's unlikely someone in the company decided to spill the beans to a noted blabbermouth like Sir Elton. So I'm going with "someone told him something they read on the internet."
