Super charged up for a country superstar: Girls -- thousands of giddy girls -- and their moms (or dads, and even a few boyfriends) turned up Sunday night at sold-out Target Center in Minneapolis for the final show on superstar Taylor Swift's first U.S. headline tour. Tickets had sold out almost instantly for Swift, 19, who has sent eight consecutive singles to the Top 10 of the country charts (half of them to No. 1) and crossed over to pop with the hits "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me."

In fact, Swift has sold more albums in the past three years than any artist -- in any genre. She's also the first woman since 2000 to be nominated for the Country Music Association's entertainer of the year. (The CMA Awards will be given out on Nov. 11.) How does she stack up against Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, George Strait and Kenny Chesney? Read Jon Bream's review of Swift's concert at www.startribune.com.
