Bristol Palin, the single mom and reality TV star whose mother is toying with a run for the White House, will sign copies of her memoir at the Mall of America, officials from the Bloomington shopping center said Monday.

Palin, 20, will appear from 6 to 8 p.m. June 29 at the mall's rotunda, bringing her back to the Twin Cites, where her family burst onto the national scene when her mother, Sarah Palin, accepted the No. 2 spot on the GOP's presidential ticket at the 2008 national convention in St. Paul.

Bristol Palin's book, "Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far," co-written with Nancy French, is scheduled for publication by William Morrow this week. In her memoir, the daughter of the former Alaska governor recounts the media frenzy surrounding her mother's political ascension, her getting pregnant as a teenager and the public unfolding of her crumbling relationship with Levi Johnston, the baby's father.

She appeared on ABC-TV's "Dancing with the Stars" this year, reaching the finals and placing third. She also speaks frequently against teen pregnancy to groups across the country.

In an account of the book by the Associated Press, the younger Palin keeps much of the focus on her relationship with Johnston, including how she lost her virginity to him on a camping trip after getting drunk for the first time on wine coolers.

'Jackass' star dies in car crashRyan Dunn, known for his gross-out, daredevil stunts on the MTV reality show "Jackass," was killed along with his passenger in a car crash in Chester County, Pa., Monday. Dunn, 34, of West Chester, Pa., was driving his Porsche 911 GT3 along Route 322 just after 2:30 a.m., when it veered off the road and into a wooded area, police said. The vehicle burst into flames. It wasn't immediately clear whether alcohol played a role, but Dunn appears to have posted a photo of himself drinking with friends on his Twitter account less than two hours before the collision.

THANKS, BUT NO THANKS: What's J.K. Rowling about to announce with the mysterious "Pottermore" project? Daniel Radcliffe says he's in the dark, and, yes, he's quite ready to say goodbye to the boy wizard at this point anyway. "I know nothing about that whatsoever," Radcliffe said of the cryptic new website that is meant to stir interest in Thursday's announcement of some new endeavor. "I'm sure that Jo will be writing a lot more in the coming years. I'm sure she has a lot more in her than we've read and a lot more stories to tell." And he added, with a bit of a chuckle: "As long as they don't involve Harry, I'm quite happy to buy them."
