Widespread Sunshine

February 28, 2011 at 8:25PM

Sunshine will abound Tuesday in the skies not only over Texas, but also overmuch of the South, the Plains and the inter-mountain West.High pressure together with a drying, westerly flow will foster the nearlycloudless skies spanning Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Memphis,Kansas City, Albuquerque and El Paso.

Due to the lack of any fresh cold air, sunshine will go to work warming theair, allowing temperatures to reach the 60s and even 70s across the southerntier of states with 50s in most of Kansas and Missouri.

Wednesday, most of this vast area will have little change, even becoming a bitwarmer.
