Two men stabbed, one fatally, in north Minneapolis home

One of two men stabbed early Sunday in a north Minneapolis home is dead and the other hospitalized, authorities said. No arrests have been made.

The bloodshed occurred shortly before 3 a.m. at a home in the 3600 block of Emerson Avenue N., police said.

The surviving man was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with noncritical injuries, police added.

The identities of the men have yet to be released.

Officers were interviewing people at the scene in an effort to learn the circumstances leading up to the violence and who was responsible.
