Drop dead divas

Fan of showbiz camp are salivating at the notion of Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon playing Bette Davis and Joan Crawford in Ryan Murphy's next anthology series, "Feud," in large part because the fighting during the shoot for "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" sounds more titillating than the actual 1962 film. Murphy's new series, being produced by Brad Pitt's company, won't be out until next year, but you can check out the original movie in the meantime.

"Syfy Presents Live From Comic-Con" may not carry the weight of reports from the political conventions, although I wouldn't explain that to a dude dressed as Kylo Ren at the hotel bar. Will Arnett hosts the nightly updates through Saturday with sneak peeks of upcoming movies and pop-ins from sci-fi superstars.

If Donald Trump wants to top his rock-star entrance earlier this week at the Republican National Convention, he'd better borrow a smoke machine from Beyonce and wrap Britney Spears' underemployed snake around his neck before delivering his highly anticipated keynote speech. Daughter Ivanka Trump is also scheduled to fill out what's already been quite a family affair.
