Opening
It was just last spring that Dominic Taylor's "I Wish You Love" premiered at Penumbra Theatre. Powered by Dennis Spears as Nat King Cole, the music-filled show sold out its premiere, toured successfully to Washington's Kennedy Center and to Hartford (Conn.) Stage. Now it's back for a holiday encore, restructured and tightened by playwright Taylor. Director Lou Bellamy remounts the show, which includes such songs as "Mona Lisa," "Nature Boy" and "Get Your Kicks on Route 66."
