The word of the week might put you to sleep

August 1, 2017 at 2:50PM

Definition: A strong desire for a nap.

Sample usage: "This six-course pasta meal is really giving me a nappetite."

Popularity: It's a cute word, but instead of "a nappetite" people will hear "an appetite," and then they will suggest restaurants instead of flat, comfortable surfaces. "Want to go to Perkins?" "Only if we get a booth."
