The 16-year-old who was shot last week during a disagreement in Brooklyn Park was identified Tuesday as Terrence Tramaine Creamer.
On Monday, Deshawn Deaondre Roberts, 18, was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting.
According to the charges, Roberts and Creamer were among two groups of young people who met in a parking lot April 24 after a disagreement. Roberts was going to fight another youth when he grabbed a gun and began shooting. Witnesses said they heard as many as seven shots fired in rapid succession.
Creamer, of Columbia Heights, was shot in the head and died Sunday.
Roberts told police he did not intend to hit Creamer.
