'FARGO'
Opening: Sandbox Theatre uses the Coen brothers' 1996 film as inspiration for a series of 10-minute plays that run Mondays through March 14. They are interspersed with multimedia commercials for products in the movie -- Gustafson Olds, wood chippers, Grain Belt Premium. "It was a way for us to throw a big net out there and work on something lighthearted and fun," said company member Matthew Glover, who led the project. Sandbox has worked around the edges of Twin Cities theater since 2005 with ensemble-created work. (8 p.m. Mon. $10-$12. Bryant-Lake Bowl, 810 W. Lake St., Mpls. 612-825-8949 or www.bryantlakebowl. com.)
