A St. Paul man pleaded guilty Friday to gross-misdemeanor criminal vehicular operation after he drove drunk and hit an 11-year-old boy in May.
Clayton Domonkos, 32, will be sentenced April 6 by Ramsey County District Judge Edward Wilson. He had a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent, almost twice the legal limit of .08, when he drove his sport-utility vehicle east on Arlington Avenue E. near Desoto Street on St. Paul's East Side about 10:30 p.m. May 9. The boy ran into traffic and was hit. He was unconscious and bleeding when police arrived, but he survived.
