Scott Baio addressed accusations made by his former "Charles In Charge" co-star Nicole Eggert, who Tweeted Saturday morning that he "molested" her when she was "14,15,16 and 17."

The drama began early Saturday, when Eggert used Twitter to accuse Baio of "fingering" her when she was as young as 14, adding in a second tweet that it happened "in his garage at his house."

A few hours later, Baio went on Facebook Live, saying, "My reputation is being damaged, my family is being put through this, and I'm done."

Baio said that what he was being accused of — inappropriately touching and having sex with Eggert when she was a minor – were "100 percent lies," and he was prepared to "knock down false claims made against" him with proof.

He laid out his history with Eggert, who was a teenager when they worked together from 1984-1990 on the sitcom. Baio at the time was in his middle to late 20s. He said that Eggert started rumors in 2012 that they had sex when she was a minor, only for them to die down and resurface months later when she "was promoting three reality shows."

When the rumors resurfaced in 2017 (this time they were collaborated by another minor on the "Charles In Charge" set, Alexander Polinsky), Baio's legal team told them that if they had a claim to go to the police. "They chose not to," Baio said.

Baio read a transcript of a 2010 interview Eggert did with Yahoo.com in which, according to him, she said, "There were a lot of weird, strange rumors about things that went on between us, but we became really good friends and everything is way more innocent than it was made out to be."

Baio eventually admitted that he and Eggert did have sexual relations – but she was not a minor at the time. He played a recording of her doing an interview on Dirty.com in which she said they slept together "way after 'Charles In Charge.'"

He showed a "Charles" script dated May, 1990 and Eggert's IMDb page which shows her birthday as Jan. 1972. "So that makes her 18 years and 4 months." He said that, based on her own words that they slept together "way after 'Charles In Charge,'" she was over 18 at the of their hook up. "Do the math," he said.

"I remember her call me and asking to come over, and coming in my house ONE time and seducing me. Now, any normal, heterosexual, red-blooded, American guy, the outcome would've been the same," he said. "She seduced me. She came in the house and started kissing me."

In retrospect, Baio wonders what changed. "She's my best friend in the world and all of a sudden I'm the boogie man, he said. "The problem with this is that people with legitimate claims aren't taken seriously and that's too bad."
