Notes As a tribute to the late John Updike, Architectural Digest said it will feature four of the author's articles for the magazine on its site, at www .architecturaldigest.com/homes/features/2009/03/john_updike.The pieces by Updike, whom AD characterized as a frequent "guest speaker," are a series of articles recalling towns and homes in which he lived.

Great Estate Home & Garden has changed its name to Historic Interiors Group. The Minnetonka business, which has been operating as a home store and interior design firm, said the new name better reflects its business, which is not estate sale-related. Recent furniture additions to the showroom at 10001 Minnetonka Blvd. include lines by Gus Design and Dino Mark Anthony and decorative accessories from a woodcarver north of Beijing.
