Two books that I have enjoyed recently are:
"The Overnight Socialite," by Bridie Clark — a simple, romantic, Pygmalion novel about a bright young fashion designer who moves from Minnesota to New York City. And "Close to Shore," by Michael Capuzzo — an exciting true story about the shark attacks along the New Jersey shore in 1916. It's a well-written, thoroughly researched story about a young great white shark that creates havoc (and causes several deaths).
