Pick Six: Praise for Radio K, Kiss the Tiger, Dan Wilson, Schuyler Sisters, more

Pick Six is a half-dozen cool things in music, from two points of view.

Charlie Moore of Minneapolis:

1 "Under the Covers" on Radio K. The best hour in Twin Cities radio is 8-9 a.m. Wednesdays, with a remarkable range of covers.

2 Kiss the Tiger. Loved that this rocking outfit made the finals of the Are You Local? competition.

3 Dan Wilson, Clown Lounge. Kudos to this local hero for playing in one of the best — and smallest — venues in town.

Jon Bream of the Star Tribune:

1 Schuyler Sisters, Super Bowl. This "Hamilton" trio performed "America the Beautiful," smartly adding "sisterhood."

2 Bai commercial. Christopher Walken dramatically reads 'N Sync's "Bye Bye Bye" as Justin Timberlake sips Bai.

3 Betsy Padamonsky, Orpheum. Her star turn and the Abba songs are chief reasons to see this "Mamma Mia!" farewell tour.
