Went to the Minnesota Zoo yesterday. Great day for it, a little brisk but sunny.
I am always surprised when I round the corner on the Northern Trail to see how HUGE those Bactrian camels are.
We were surprised to see a darling baby camel running around the hill.
We wondered out loud. Which camel is his mommy?
As if on cue the baby camel made a beeline for one of the camel's underbelly.
Aha, of course.
The new mom was the haggard looking one who was losing her hair...
And as I type this - I wish I had taken a picture.
