Margaret Olive Pederson

Pederson, Margaret Olive of Glenwood, MN, died April 19, 2024 in St. Cloud, MN at the age of 102. She was born in Dalton, MN on Oct. 1, 1921 to parents Albert and Anna Molberg. Margaret is survived by her sister Beatrice Steinman, children Phoebe Wood, Luke and Nate Pederson, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a myriad of friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Oliver, son Jonathan, and her brother and sister A. Luther Molberg and Constance Molberg. A funeral service for Margaret will be held at Glenwood Lutheran Church, Glenwood, MN, on Monday, May 13, at 11 am, followed by a luncheon at Lakeside Restaurant. Visitation at the church begins at 10 am, and the service will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend. Margaret will be buried in Lake Hazel Cemetery, Benson, MN. A Louisville gathering to remember Margaret will be held at the home of her daughter on Sunday, May 19 from 4-6 pm. Lucious Washington, Jr.

Washington, Lucious, Jr. (76) of Brooklyn Park, MN passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Estes Funeral Chapel, 2201 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Interment: Jonesboro, Arkansas


Garret Westby

Westby, Garret Age 27 of Stillwater. On May 4th, beloved son, big brother, grandson, and friend to all, Garret Edward Westby, 27 passed away tragically and unexpectedly. Garret was born May 30th, 1996 and is survived by his parents, Timothy and Michelle Westby, his younger sisters Alexandra and Anna, his aunts and uncles Jim and Beth Sullivan, Todd and Heidi Westby, cousins David Sullivan and Christine Althaus, Claire and Sam Westby, his grandparents Norman and Deanna Westby, and too many friends to mention. Garret is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Roger and Mary Zellmer, his first dog Leine, and his favorite dog Rema. He was known by many names - Garret, Gare-Bear, Gar, G, G-Man, The Bro, Rico, Bobay, Harold, and Gary. He graduated from Stillwater High School, attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Garret has been a cherished individual of the family company, Turnkey Corrections and 32Market, since he was 14 years old. Where he was not only an exceptional colleague to many, but a friend to all. Garret joined Cantaloupe in the last year, where he had been recently promoted. His happiest place was at the family cabin on Lake Vermillion. His favorite time was spent with family and friends: fishing, playing cards, sharing and listening to music, bonfires, boat rides, and bags. Whether it was hunting, golfing, fishing, or cheering on his Minnesota Vikings with his dad, Garret was a Minnesota boy through and through. A visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater. The funeral will be at 11 am Saturday, May 11 at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 1583 Radio Drive, Woodbury, with visitation one hour prior and a luncheon after the service. In lieu of flowers, all memorials will be donated to the nonprofit Lake Vermillion Lake Association to help preserve G's favorite place in the world. The family is grateful to all who have reached out, and shared memories and thoughts of Garret. He was a great son, amazing brother, an all-around awesome guy, and loved by so many. He was taken from us too soon and we will remember him forever. We love you Gar.
