Brown, Dr. James Paterson Age 72, of Shoreview, MN, died September 3, 2006. Preceded in death by parents, Lois and Milton Brown. Survived by loving wife, Sally and lab, Sadie; children, Kati Brown and Dan Little, Juli and Greg Smith, Molly and John Lammi, Tim and Susie Brown; grandchildren, Jessie and Dylan Little, Meagan and Chase Smith, Justin and Jessica Lammi, Phoebe Brown; siblings, William and Jean Brown, John and Karin Brown, Bob and Penny Brown; in-laws, Jonathan and Katherine Wallace; Jon and Maricarol Wallace; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. Born in Dakota, Minnesota, October 26, 1933. Graduated from Breck School in 1951. Received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. Completed his Ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic. He was one of the founders of St. Paul Eye Clinic and retired in 1997. Jim loved being with his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, boat restoring and working in the yard. The cabin on Lake of the Woods and Castle Rock Ranch in Montana were special places to him. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7th at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 2300 Hamline Ave. North, Roseville. Visitation at 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church or the Minnesota Medical Foundation.
