Runquist Douglas L., age 71, of Hopkins, passed away on June 30, 2002. He was a veteran of the Naval Medical Corps, served in Korea & Japan. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Lt. Com. Dr. Lynn E. Runquist, Dr. Richard K. Runquist. He will be deeply missed by loving wife of 48 years, Marilyn; children, Kristy Lynn Scanlon (Robert), Thomas Richard Runquist; grandchild, James Scanlon; sister, Donna Nichols (William R.); many loving relatives and friends. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, July 13 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Hopkins, 715 Minnetonka Mills Rd. (952-935-1753), with gathering of friends one hour prior at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials preferred to Gethsemane Lutheran Church or Korean War Veterans Memorial Association.
