Strand Jared Charles Strand, age 35, of St. Paul, MN, June 27, 2005, accidentally on his treasured vacation with his Dad. Preceded in death by his uncle, Thomas Paige Ziegler. Survived by his parents, Susan Carolan and husband Dave, David Strand and wife Kathryn, and Dr. Jones Adkins and wife Julie; sisters, Jessica Kelley (Brian) and Sarah Strand; nephews, Joe and Tom Kelley; grandparents, Paige and Phyllis Ziegler, Valborg Strand and Dr. Charles Douglas Adkins; aunts and uncles, Jeff Ziegler (Linda), John Strand (Eleanor), Jackie Straub (Wally), Dick Strand, Bruce Strand, Doug Strand (Nancy), Valerie Strand Patterson (Philip), and Lylla Adkins; cousins, Aaron, Seth and Juliana Ziegler, Willow Joines, Joey Ingle, Hadley Adkins, Alan Strand, Paul Strand, Mike Straub, Carrie Clausen, Emily, Ailie, Darin Strand, and Nicky Strand; extended family and many friends who meant so much to him including Jenny and Rob Lampe. Jared lived his life with zest and sense of humor that will be remembered by all who knew him. Never without his Mountain Dew and Vikings hat on backwards, he traveled through life with a spirit of love and generosity for all whose lives he touched. He will be missed. Funeral service Tuesday, July 5th, 11 AM at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth. Visitation 1 prior at church. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Anoka.
