Branstrom, Eugene M. Age 81, of Edina, passed away November 27, 2017. It is with great sadness that Gene's family announces his passing. Ginny, his loving wife of 58 years, and his children were by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Evelyn Branstrom, and his brother Jack. Gene was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and friend who was known for his mischievous sense of humor. Gene loved architecture and practiced for more than 55 years in Mpls. and surrounding communities. He had a special commitment to design and customer service, and many of his clients became lifelong friends. Survived by wife, Virginia; children, Beth (John) Pohle and Bryan Branstrom; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters Kathy (Dale) Hanson and Jennifer Glende; many other relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, June 24, 2018. Details will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
