Duffy, Frank George Born in Portland, Ore-gon on October 23, 1922 and passed on July 4, 2014 in Silver Bay, Minnesota.Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Patricia and Mildred. Survived by his wife Nell; five children Joann, Jennifer, Patrick (Irene), Micheal, and Kate (Bill); grandsons Trevor (Shari) and Shaun (Deb); great grandchildren Meghan, Amanda and Eva; nephews Ken (Diane) Devine and Joe Devine; and many, many friends. Frank served in the Air Corps in WW II where he met his life long love Nell. They were married in Peterborough, England on February 15, 1945. Frank was a die caster/trouble shooter for Honeywell until his retire-ment. Frank was a true sportsman. Over the years Frank taught the fine points of fishing to family and friends alike. He enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets on lakes all around the United States and Canada. Many thanks to the staff at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Silver Bay for their compassionate care of Frank and his family. Services will be held Wednesday, July 9th at 11:30 am at the United Protestant Church in Silver Bay, MN. Interment of ashes at a later date. Donations may be made to the Minnesota Veterans Home in Silver Bay. No flowers please.
