Reisinger, Therese "Tessie" Tessie, a lifelong resident of the Farmington- Lakeville area, died September 1, 2017 surrounded by her family at Reflections on the campus of Three Links in Northfield. She was 87. Tessie graduated from Lakeville High School in 1948 and married James G. Reisinger (Big Jim) at All Saints Catholic Church on June 1, 1949. She is survived by her five children, Jim Reisinger and his wife Paulette, Margaret (Peg) Lawrence, Sharon Reisinger; Julie Johnson and husband Peter, and Jayne Harris and husband Frank; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and her sister Kathryn Barger. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ann Hauer; her husband James G. Reisinger; three siblings, Mary Hauer, Andrew Hauer, and Helen Sauser; and her son-in-law Jay Lawrence. Tessie valued her role as a businesswoman, working with her husband in the family excavating and development business. She was an avid golfer, had a passion for travel, and enjoyed entertaining. Tess and "Big Jim' loved boating and kept a houseboat at King's Cove on the St. Croix River for 22 years. The Reisingers moved from their country home in Farmington to Brackett's Crossing in Lakeville in 1988. Tessie's final residence was Highview Hills in Lakeville where she had a view of the hill where her childhood farm once stood and could hear the bells of the Catholic Church - both brought her great comfort. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday September 7, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church 19795 Holyoke Ave. Lakeville. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday September 6, 2017 at White Funeral Home 20134 Kenwood Tr. Lakeville and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment church cemetery.
