Neumann, Raymond R. age 90, of St. Michael. He was born on March 28, 1927 in Plymouth the son of Clem & Mary (Fries) Neumann. Ray engaged in dairy farming for many years and also was a butcher for Dehmer Meats and Lemars Meats. He was a faithful member of The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael and was a longtime usher. Ray was very devoted to the Rosary. He belonged to Knights of Columbus Council # 4174 and was involved with the K.C. Youth Program. Ray was an avid fisherman and card player. Survived by his loving wife Bernadine Neumann; children: Pat (Richard) Giebenhain, Kathy (Daryl) Kohlhaas, Tom (Judy) Neumann, Sue (Adrian) Aurzada, Jim (Sue) Neumann, LuAnn Neumann and Jean (Joe) Beattie; 20 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; Ray's stepchildren: Nick (Deb) Dahlheimer, Lucy (Harlan) Holmes, Colleen (Steve) Tompkins, Byron (Judi) Dahlheimer, Paula (Scott) Liptak and Jeannine (Paul) Klosterman; 15 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren; a sister: Marian Lehn; many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his first wife Mary Lou Neumann, his parents, 6 siblings and by a step daughter Anne Foley. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. Visitation Tuesday, July 25th from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home. K.C. Rosary 7:00 P.M. Further visitation Wednesday morning, July 26th beginning at 9:30 A.M. at the church.
