Holm, Lillian Linnea (Anderson) Age 89, passed away on June 13, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents Hilda and Martin Anderson, and by many cousins with whom she had shared fond memories. Survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, William Max Holm, and their 4 children: Mary (Art), Jean, Jim (Roxanne), and Kati (Peter). Also survived by 8 grandchildren: Tim, Allie (Greg), Carrie (Mallory), Peter (Jayne), Megan, James, Laura, and Eric. Lillian grew up in Minneapolis, graduating from Roosevelt High School. She and Max raised their family in Edina, where she treasured her home and neighbors and the garden clubs, bridge clubs, and the many longstanding friendships that flourished over the years. Lillian also loved cooking, reading, and traveling. She embraced her Scandinavian heritage by visiting and hosting relatives, and staying in touch with them across the miles. Mom / Grandma / Lil will be sadly missed but lives on in our hearts and memories. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 28 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. So., Edina. Private interment will take place at a later date. Memorials can be made to the N.C. Little Hospice in Edina, the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of your choice.
