Krueger, Ward Andrew Charles 77, joined his beloved hunting dog Picolo in Heaven peacefully on June 13th, 2017. Ward was born in LeSueur in 1940 and graduated from West High School in Minneapolis. Ward was a "sales-man" through and through. He transitioned from insurance to real estate and began building homes in the early 1970's. He was a talented builder and designed many homes on the back of cocktail napkins and placemats. Ward was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time on Lake Mille Lacs and cooking walleye for anyone who came to visit. In 1984 he embarked on a spiritual journey that would change his life. He read everything that he could, searched his soul, and reached out a hand to help others. He had a positive attitude about life and always had a smile, especially in the face of adversity. He is survived by brother George (Bud), sister Donna, children Jody (Mark) Grieger, Jami, Travis, and Parker, and by grandchildren Will, Bowen and Ford. He never stopped trying to grow. He taught us to work hard and follow our dreams. He was forever "just rattling our cage". We will miss you Dad. We love you. A memorial service will be held at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel (3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408) at 10:00 A.M. on July 11, 2017, with a lunch to follow at Lakewood. Memorials are preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands. methvenfuneralhome.com
