Diehl, David R. age 80 a life long resident of Edina died peacefully on April 26, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, David G. and Bernadette Diehl; broth er, Thomas. Survived by sisters, Sheila (Bruce) Kelly Hoyt, Mary (Joe) Drexel; many nieces and nephews. Dave was a Korean War Veteran and a longtime employee of the US Postal Service. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and great sense of humor. The family would like to thank Health Partners and N.C. Little Hospice for their loving care during Dave's illness. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 5/1/2017 at 11 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Grace, 5051 Eden Ave. Edina. Visitation Monday 1/2 hour prior to Mass at church only.
