Brindisi, Anthony D. age 93 years old, died March 24, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospice. Pre-deceased by his parents, Angelo and Filomena; Brothers: Ralph, Nick, Frankie, Mickey and Sister Betty. Beloved husband of the late Rita I. (nee Martino). Survived by son, Michael & wife Michelle, daughter, Patricia & husband, Keith. Granddaughters, Jacquelyn and Caitlin. Anthony was a barber for 56 years. He entered the US Army Air Corps in 1943. He wanted to be a pilot, but he was colorblind and transferred to Army Engineers and was a construction electrician. He was stationed in Burma, India and in Kunming, China helped build the Flying Tiger Airfield. He was under bombardment on Christmas Eve in 1944. He was proud of his service but hated the evils of war. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Tuesday 9-10:30 AM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. Anastasia Church. Interment Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
