Hansen, Ben age 27, of Minnetonka, passed away February 18, 2017. Ben had a complicated life and passed away from acute respiratory failure due to drug use and a disability that affected his ability to maintain sobriety. Survived by parents, Karen & Gary Hansen; siblings, Charlie (Karolina); nieces, Rose & Hania, Taylor (Joel), Amalie; grandparents, Doug & Bev Hansen and Susan Schuler. Preceded in death by his beloved grandpa, Chuck. Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Upper Room - 6200 Colonial Way, Edina. Visitation 5-7 PM Friday, February 24, 2017 at Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Youth Investment, the parent organization of Timber Bay of Minnetonka or a fund to create a program that supports young people with disabilities.
