Bergford, Beverly Sue (Koch) age 79, of Mpls, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by parents, Vincent & Dorothy Koch. Survived by loving husband of 57 years, John F. Bergford, Jr.; son & daughter-in-law, John Bergford, III and Dana Gross of Minneapolis; son, Robert of St. Louis Park; two grandsons, Rolf and Simon Bergford of Minneapolis, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Beverly graduated from Minneapolis West High School and earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota, College of Education. Beverly retired in 2002 from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Beverly was a longtime member of Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, serving in many volunteer and leadership roles. During the 1970s she actively served on school facilities task forces for the Minneapolis Public Schools. Bev was intensely interested in American history; and always looked forward to her annual springtime trip with John to the Williamsburg, Virginia area. Memorial Service Thursday, February 23, 11:00 am, Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, 2020 W. Lake of the Isles Pkwy, Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
