Sienko, Phyllis M. age 87 of Richfield, passed away peacefully on Nov. 1, 2016 after defying Alzheimer's for many years. A Minnesota born and raised gal, Phyllis was preceded in death by husband, Edward; parents, Anton and Dorothy Green; and brother, Donald Green. Survived by her beloved family, Annette (Robert) Dillard, Colin (MinJi) Dillard, Nicole Dillard; Kathleen (Murray) Wachtel, Rebecca (Brian) Ginter-Wachtel, Anberly Ginter-Wachtel, David Wachtel; Deborah Fox (sweetheart Ben), Charlie Fox, Ryan (Erin) Fox; Richard (Roxanne) Sienko, Nicholas Sienko (Becki Winter), Elsie Winter-Sienko, Alexander Sienko, Annastasia Sienko; Mary Sienko; Joanne (Michael) Ott, Seamus Ott, Madlyn Ott; Michelle (Edward) Kram, Katherine Kram, Andrew Kram, Daniel Kram, Gustavo Kram and Gabriela Kram. Phyllis touched so many lives with her warmth and generosity. She was a person of unwavering support whether you knew her as a wife, mother, grandmother or friend. She could strike up a conversation with anybody about anything. Phyllis was a gardener, a world traveler, a tireless volunteer, a piano player, a choir singer, a sewing guru, a bridge player, a constant coupon user and a homemaker at whose home all the neighborhood kids hung out. While we miss her dearly, we know she is in a better place - other loved ones have called her home. The world has lost a truly good one. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 15, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6730 Nicollet Ave. S., Richfield. Visitation 4-7 PM Monday, November 14, at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S., Richfield and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at Ft. Snelling following luncheon.
