Dorff, Lori Lynn (Huntley) age 47, of Elk River, MN went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2016 following a 13 year journey with breast cancer. Lori's determination and grace were an inspiration to many. She was a truly amazing wife and partner to her husband Chris and BEST MOM EVER to her beautiful daughters, Alyssa, Rachel and Hanna. She was an extraordinary daughter, sister and friend who was deeply loved. Lori had a strong faith that guided her in all areas of her life. She was committed to her family at Central Lutheran Church and to her community, serving many who needed her help. Lori was an avid hockey, soccer, softball and dance mom and will forever cheer her girls on. She had a passion for artistic endeavors and a talent for interior design. Lori loved spending time at the lake with her family, kayaking, floating and picnicking. Her bright smile and generous soul lives on in our hearts and our memories. She was a gift to all who knew her. Lori is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elwood, Phern, Elvin and Esther and brother-in-law, Patrick. She is survived by husband, Chris; daughters, Alyssa, Rachel, and Hanna; parents, Joel and Mary; sister, Michelle; brothers, Todd and Jason; nephew, Brandon; godparents, Joan and Dean; many aunts, uncles and cousins; Chris' family, Sharon, Roger, Leanne, Greg, Lauren, Erin, Kendall, Jamie, Brisa; and special friends, Jason, Jolene, Emma and Alyson. Funeral service Wednesday, August 17, 2016, 11 AM Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School St. NW, Elk River, MN 55330. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 PM and also 1 hour prior to service all at the church.
