Westergren, Joan Iona Age 84 of Robbinsdale, born July 13, 1929, passed away on 1/30/14. Preceded in death by her parents, Iona and George; husband, Merrill; daughter, Lu-Ann. Survived by loving children, Merri-Jo (Martin), George (Becky), Carl (Kathy), Jo-Anna, Caryl (Jim), Eric, Ruth (Mark); grandchildren, Erica Eliason-Cutts (Simon), Adrian Westergren; great-grandchildren, Ingrid and Annika Eliason-Cutts; loyal companion, Olaf. A talented artist and photographer, she enjoyed traveling and nature, but most of all she enjoyed her family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed and will live in our hearts forever. Funeral service 12 PM Wed, 2/5, 2014 with visitation 1/2 hour prior at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Avenue S, Mpls.
