Melchert, Marlene age 77 of Crystal, passed away peacefully on 1/23/14. Preceded in death by husband, James "Jim" Melchert. Survived by sons, Bruce Melchert and John Melchert and fiancee Mary Gale; grandchildren, Jennifer, Sofia, Mayia, and Colton; great-grandson, Mason; brothers, Jim (Celeste) Hicks and Tom (Carol) Hicks; and many other friends and family. Marlene was a long time employee of the Robbinsdale School District #281. Memorials preferred to the church.
