Filipczak, Marcella "Honey" age 101, died on Jan. 14. She was a proud veteran of the Women’s Army Corps during WWII, worked for the City of Mpls most of her life and traveled the world. She loved opera, the Twins, and outdoor baseball at the Met. A woman of refined sensibilities, she was the epitome of a "class act." At 101 she isn’t survived by very many people. All her siblings and friends are on the other side and have been waiting a long time to see her again. She will be missed on this side by nieces, Mary Pat Mulrhead, Jodi LePage, Sue Rogge, Meg Lowe; nephews, James, Gregory, Tom, Steve and Robert; sister-in-law, Margaret. The 2nd and 3rd generations of nieces and nephews are too numerous to count. She will be buried with full Military Honors Monday, Jan. 20, 11:30 AM, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area #4. A service for Honey will be Sunday, Jan 19, 2:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior at: Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100
