William T. Olson

Olson, William T. of St. Louis Park, died October 15, 2012. Bill was born March 19, 1952 in Mpls to Donald and Elaine T. Olson. A 1971 graduate of St. Louis Park High School, he attended the University of Minnesota at Duluth and later received an Associates Degree in substance abuse counseling. Bill worked as a counselor and volunteer at Courage Center which helped him greatly following a stroke. Despite his disability, Bill continued to enjoy lifelong friendships and make new ones. Bill is survived by his mother, Elaine; sisters, Judy (Steve) Weiss and Donna Lee; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who will greatly miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, Don. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, October 19 with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Peace Presbyterian Church, 7624 Cedar Lake Road, St. Louis Park.
