Schmidt, Catherine (nee Resch) "Kate" Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend, Artist, age 59, died May 22, 2012 of cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Rose and Dr. Joseph Resch. Survived by husband of 28 years and friend of 40 years, David; daughter, Rose (husband John); grandson, Jack Tichenor, sister, Rose Throldahl; niece, Gail Hannan; nephew, Paul Throldahl; brother, Frank (wife Karen) Resch; nieces, Rose and Francesca Resch. Graduate of Robbinsdale High School Class of 1970 and University of Minnesota 1974 Bachelor of Arts Degree. U of MN employee for 37 years. Watercolor artist, lapidary enthusiast, gardener, beader, weaver. Star and leading lady of A.H.C. Productions Film Co-op. A private family memorial service has been held.
