Hipp, Pearl L. St. Mark's Piano Teacher for 40 years, Age 86. Nee Deering. Passed away peacefully on September 27, 2011. Preceded in death by husband, Carl and daughter, Ann. Survived by children, Kathy, Bob, Charles (Shawn), Michael (Karen), Rosemary, and John; grandchildren, Carl, Ryan, and Kasey. Piano teacher to four generations at St. Mark's elementary school. Legendary banquet host and vocal super-fan of high school and college sports teams - feared by umpires and referees across the Midwest. Life- long champion of the disabled and founding Board Member of Midway Training Services day activity centers for the handicapped. Memorials appreciated in lieu of flowers to Midway Training Services, 1953 University Avenue, St. Paul 55104. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday at the Church of St. Mark, 2001 Dayton Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday (TODAY) at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006 and also one hour prior to Mass at church. Join us in honoring Pearl by wearing her favorite color purple.
