Palmer, Sheryl June age 70, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2015. She was born January 31, 1945, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Russ and Betty Palmer. Sheryl is survived by her wife of twenty years, Nadean Bishop; sister, Dianna Marchiafava (Tom); brother, Ken Palmer (Tammy); three daughters: Kim Hannan (Chris), Michelle Jost (John), Nicole Dahl (Chad), and Nadean's three children: Anita Morrison (Bill), Gail Noland (Don), and Jim Bishop (Sue). Sheryl leaves eight grandchildren: Andrew Commers and Natalee Hannan; Annika, Alexandra, and Isabella Jost; and Tommy, Maria, and Jack Dahl, as well as many nieces and nephews. A former director of Legal Services of Washington County, Sheryl will be remembered lovingly for her irreverent wit and gorgeous gardens, as well as her culinary gifts and passion for liberal politics. Sheryl's wish was cremation. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Animal Humane Society, your local Women's Shelter, or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held at University Baptist Church (1219 University Ave SE, Mpls, MN 55414) at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, with lunch to follow at the church.
