Bowen-Olson, Anne Marie Age 100 of Edina. Formerly of Mpls and Bloomington. Preceded in death by husbands, John A. Bowen and Donald T. Olson; sons Michael and Paul Bowen; stepson, Randy Olson; son-in-law, Erik Peraaho; sisters, Rose Cook and Clarie Boatright; brother, Raymond J. Bohn. Survived by daughters, Barbara Bowen and Elizabeth (Erik) Grund; grandchildren, Sara (Jeff) Batchelor; Nathan and Andrew Grund; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Caitlin and Andrew; stepchildren, Cheryl (Jeff) Brown and Todd Olson; sister, Theresa Nyre; nieces and nephews. Anne was born in North Dakota and graduated from Minot St. Leo's High School and attended Minot State University. Graduated as an RN from St. Mary's Hospital - College of St. Catherine in 1948. Member of Annunciation parish since 1954, serving as lector and Eucharistic minister for 30 years. She served every office on the Annunciation Council of Women, was a tireless volunteer on the board of St. Mary's Auxiliary, the League of Catholic Women board, volunteered at Opportunity Partners and served on the board of Fraser. Anne enjoyed her family, tennis, golf, bridge, traveling, reading, letter writing, sports, and her GABS group and friends of Vernon Terrace. Mass of Christian Burial Sat. May 11, 2024 at 12 noon, Church of the Annunciation, 509 W. 54th Street with visitation one hour prior. Private interment ~ Lakewood Cemetery.
