Anderson, Stephanie Lynn Burke Age 63, of Eagan passed away at home on April 22, 2024 while surrounded by her family after a four- year fight against breast cancer. Steph was born to Harry and Ruth (Carlson) Burke on February 20, 1961 and was raised as the youngest of 4 girls in Bloomington. Steph was a very active child, an excellent athlete and particularly enjoyed Young Life camps. She graduated from Bloomington Lincoln HS and attended Bemidji State University. Steph spent most of her working life as a certified medical assistant and was a thoughtful caregiver to her patients. She was preceded in death by her parents and died on the 35th anniversary of her mother's death; she joins them in heaven. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Bob; daughters, Sydney and Samantha (Spencer); sisters, Sue Knight (Jeff), Cindy Calvin (Steve) and Barb Tjader (Hank); along with her nieces, nephews, their children and her beloved dog Bear. Steph had a passion for life and was a devoted supporter of her girls. She was very creative and competitive. She loved working on various projects, gardening, golfing and supporting Gopher football. She was very social, could talk to anyone and was often the last to leave the party! Steph and Bob were fortunate to travel the world together and she particularly loved time at the family condo in Naples, Florida. Steph will be truly missed by her many friends. A celebration of her life will be at Easter Lutheran Church, 4200 Pilot Knob Rd in Eagan on Tuesday, April 30th at 2:30pm, with visitation beginning at 1pm.
