Robert A. 'Bob' Eggan

Eggan, Robert A. (Bob) age 87, of Prior Lake, passed away on April 25, 2024. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan, brother Richard and his parents. Bob was born and raised in Fargo, ND. In high school he was very active in American Legion Baseball and wrote a sports column for his school newspaper. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and had a long career working for Collins Radio, Unisys and DataCard. Bob was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He and Susan enjoyed spending their summers at their lake cabin and traveling. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Vikings and Twins. He was a devout Christian and was active in many Bible studies and ministries at his church over his entire life. In his later years, his favorite activity was his morning coffee group. Survived by his daughters, Linda (Fred) Mast and Jennifer Eggan (Steve Gilbert); son Steve (Leslie) Eggan; seven grandchildren and many friends. Funeral Service: 2:30 pm Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Trinity Church (10658 210th St) Lakeville. Memorial visitation from 5-8pm Wednesday, May 1 at White Funeral Home (20134 Kenwood Tr) Lakeville and one hour prior to the service at church.
